Pop fireworks. Folk lyricism. Indie rock. At home on the piano. On holidays with a ukulele.
Having released his debut record White Canvas in 2010, Maclean is picking up some groundswell performing alongside Claire Bowditch, Lanie Lane, Kate-Miller Heidke and even Savage Garden. He's also in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, so there's that too.
This year Brendan has been working with producer Paul Mac (Silverchair / The Dissociatives) and has funded his studio time through crowd-funding efforts.
Dates:
Friday 22nd The Factory Theatre Sydney
Saturday 23rd Fed Square at The White Night Festival in Melbourne.
