My interest in playing music began over 24 years ago when I bought my first bass guitar after hearing The Cure's 'Faith' album.
I was the bass player for a Perth-based funk/rock band Seahorse in the very early 90's. After Seahorse disbanded in 1993, I wrote a handful of songs with my long-time high school friend Darren . We recorded some of those songs using an analogue 4-track Tascam but never released any tracks officially, nor played live even though we dreamed the dream.
After a 10 years, I was struck by the muse again and recorded new compositions using only my old acoustic guitar (18 years old now), an analogue 4-track and a handful of effect pedals and mixed the demos on my home PC.
In 2005 I made the move from analogue recording technologies to all digital. During 2006 - 2007 I was busy writing and recording in my home studio with the end result being "August" released as limited CD in 2007. You can download the entire from album here - www.dks.net.au/music
I am presently working on my second long play (LP2) ready to launch 11 November 2011. This entire recording will be available to download for FREE in MP3 format from my website - www.dks.net.au/music
