Elliot The Bull formed on the foundations of strong friendships, and musical diversity. Their sound is an honest reflection of each individual member’s musical influences and creates a unique and eclectic harmony within their music. The four piece from the Central Coast of NSW are indeed, the result of a melting pot of muses. As one live reviewer eloquently put it; “It was hard to succinctly pinpoint the group’s sound, but elements of folk, rockabilly, punk/hardcore and indie pop all came together to create a pleasurable sound.”

Elliot The Bull formed in 2009 with all members having been in previous musical projects with one another. After playing locally and non stop demoing the band were picked up by American act Lydia to play tour support on their “Goodbye & Farewell” 2010 Australian tour, which saw the guys play to their biggest audiences yet, and gain fans and friends across the country.

The Bulls’ first EP was completed and released, as a free online download, in April 2011 and they set off on tour across Australia, once again playing main support for a US band, this time as guests of New York act, As Tall As Lions. Upon return, it was straight back into the studio for more writing and recording, with producer Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels).

With the EP soon to be released Elliot The Bull are preparing to once again set out on the road this year and share their newest offering with audiences of friends and strangers across Australia.

Some rather extravagant folk rock here. It's solid stuff.

I really love this song, it starts as a very commercially minded pop folk rock song but is thrown on it's head with some really awesome musical quirk...
