Sydney based singer/songwriter Faith Lee is launching her much anticipated debut EP “Damascus” at The Vanguard
(Newtown) August 12th.

Faith Lee is an artist with a compelling story that she tells through her songs. She sings from a place of honesty and experience that only comes from someone who has lived what they are singing.

Faith began her musical journey performing with her family band "The Lees" for 15 years as a child. Playing in hotels all across the Australian outback developed a purity in her voice and witnessing people from all walks of life produced the desire to write it all down. After exchanging dirt roads for city lights, she found a voice of her own and has spent the last 12 months defining her sound as a solo artist. She has created a record that has a maturity beyond her 21 years.

"Damascus" was recorded live at the Bill Chambers studios and has a rawness to it that you would usually only encounter at a live performance.
