Hey!
We believe there is a bass player in Sydney who is passionate about their instrument and it's mastery. Who is looking for a band to record with and then start work on promotion, and general world domination. :-) Who is looking to turn there skills into monetary success and international acclaim.
They would also believe like us in power of music and that there more to music then what has already been created by bands such as RATM, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Nirvana, The Doors, Black Sabbath, The Roots and many others from the Rock/Blues/Funk/Metal/Hip Hop families. But uses them and the many greats as a reference point for creating something unique.
We have been playing and writing together for about 2 years and are studying music, so we can develop our skills further.
There is Michael who sings, Brad who plays Sax, and Keyboards, Ac-Guitar And Aaron who plays the Electric Guitar. There is also James who is auditioning for our group next week for the drummer role.
We have learnt that to create something with consipicuous precision the people are hardworking, friendly, mentally and emotionally strong, open to new ideas and music, and desire to show this to other people.
So if this interests you, we want to meet you and find out why music inspires you and jam. :-)
We can't not promise the world but we believe we can change the world with music.

Seeking a female drummer for a new band. Currently 2 girls & 3 chaps in early days of brand new indie project. Influences range between My Bloody Valentine, Veronica Falls, the Breeders, Seapony, Broadcast, Grouper, Yo La Tengo, A Sunny Day in Glasgow, Wild Nothing, Go-Betweens and Sonic Youth. Based around inner north and inner west Melbourne. In the process of writing now, more songs than we can poke a stick at and new member encouraged to be a part of the songwriting process.

SYD/MELB BANDS NEEDED FOR LAUNCH GIGS

We're putting on some launch parties in Melbourne (21st Jan) and Sydney (18th Jan) and are looking for bands to rock out for approx 1/2 hour sessions.
Launch is for a youth scooter magazine and will be held at skateparks, so young and energetic bands with own PA would suit best!
