BASS PLAYER WANTED
Good day all, I'm after a bass player - not just a guy who plays bass - to join some form of rock band based in Melbourne's inner suburbs. Some may call the style doom pop, or stoner metal. I'm unsure as to whether I subscribe to those tags, other than to say I have a foot in blues, rock, metal and bluegrass. Hope to be gigging by the summer. Influences include but are not limited to Mastodon, Clutch, Meshuggah, Kyuss and Soundgarden.

Looking for musicians interested in forming a roster for creating jazz/fusion/improv/experimental music. You don't need to be experienced jazzers as long as you are creative & imaginative. This mainly for fun BTW. My influences in this vein include: Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock , John Zorn, King Crimson, Mars Volta, etc
I am based western sydney/blue mountains area but I will keep contact with anyone interest and try and form a bit of a "amatuer jazz" network/scene. THe more the merrier!

Original rock/pop band from Northern suburbs/Gawler/Barossa area needs bassist!!! We have just formed out of 2 existing bands, have a complete lineup and all necessary equipment including recording facilities. Our influences vary from Foo Fighters, the Ataris, to Van Halen. Age is no issue, current members are between 19 and 31 years old.
We are easygoing and democratic – everyone has equal input. But we also got gigs in SA and VIC waiting, so a professional attitude & reliability are essential!
