Fantastic... full of clever devices and changes that keep you guessing and keep you tapping your toe.

I'm a sucker for a lazy, world-weary vocal. As well as that it's tight and punchy, with heaps of bass and hand claps. It's not particularly melodic but it has a great groove.

Delightfully atmospheric and flawlessly executed. These are the sounds that the objects from Bjork's "Hyperballad" make as they fall down the mountain.

My hands are dry. I guess because it's winter and I ride a bike a lot. But this song is sweet and well sung and just the right amount of sad, and it makes me forget about my flaky hands. Maybe I should get gloves. Great song, though.

Okay, so this chap seems to like sex and drinking. Fair enough, but that's hardly unique or interesting subject matter for a song. The beat's okay, though it could do with varying up at some point in the song. The MCing is all male bravado without much substance, other than the naming of different parts of Perth, which I admit is a good concept. But one not executed particularly well... sound and fury, signifying nothing etc etc

That voice that voice that voice that voice could cut you like the samurai sword in Pulp Fiction.

It's always impressive when a *solo* artist plays all the instruments himself. There are some great guitar bits and stacks of lo-fi charm on this one. I don't think the refrain is that special - lyrically or melodically - but this is a promising track.

There's nothing wrong with an "I saw you across the dancefloor" type of song, but this could have been more imaginative.

The moodiness of this song wins you over after a couple of listens. I like the way the xylophone offsets the harsh guitars, like rainbow to cloud.

This gets five from me. Every time I hear it on the radio I turn it up and tap out the rhythm. It has whispers of so many influences, but somehow manages to sound original. I love the call and response part about 2 minutes in, too.
