Five Deadly Years:
The Stylin' UP Regional Album includes the deadly beats and lyrics from 260 young artists from Logan, Hope Vale, Cherbourg and Woorabinda. It has been inspired by stories from elders, the creative input of over 20 Artsworkers and many many workshops, dances, disco's and time with young people.

What is Stylin’ UP Regional?
Pride in Self, Pride in Community, Pride in Culture
Stylin’ UP Regional is a skills and community cultural development program linked into the annual Stylin’ UP festival, Australia’s largest Indigenous Hip Hop and RnB festival based in and hosted by the community of Inala.

The Stylin’ UP Regional program works within the communities of Cherbourg, Woorabinda, Logan and Hope Vale

Workshop programs in dance, singing, songwriting, music-making, mcing and visual art happen in each community throughout the year. Young people participate in the workshops, not only to develop a performance outcome for their own community and at the Stylin’ UP Festival, but to encourage local talent, build confidence and to participate in community events. The workshops provide a forum for young people to tell stories, talk about issues, learn new skills, show no shame, celebrate culture and play a role in building strong communities.

Stylin’ UP Regional is coordinated by Human Ventures in partnership with a range of organisations, Aboriginal Councils, youth support programs, schools, parents, service providers, community members, Elders and young people in each community.
