Super Best Friends
Genre: Punk, Rock
Region: Canberra, ACT
Members: Adam Bridges drums/vocals Matt Roberts bass/vocals/synth Johnny Barrington vocals/guitar/synth

Super Best Friends stayed up all night thinking about this... but still could only come up with a story about three years of hardwork as ambassadors of the largely DIY Canberra music scene.

Punchy drums + crunchy guitars + distorto bass + computer/synth sounds + satirical biting lyrics = Super Best Friends.

We've supported The Dukes Of Windsor, The Unseen (USA) and The Hard-Ons - and have gone interstate with Calling All Cars & Super Fun Happy Band. BUT, we've also played with some freakin rad underground bands in/from NSW, Vic, ACT & QLD.

Our debut EP 'Seditious Material' scored some love on community radio stations in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra - and we have a new 7-track release on the way, to be recorded over summer - with the "Capital Radio" demo the first little sneakpeak. (and you can only hear it here!!!)

When we're not spending the weekends in our big blue van on the way to a city near you for a show, we hassle federal treasurers, rockstars and game-show hosts and stick the results up on Youtube (www.youtube.com/superbestfriendstv).

It's a fresh blend of witty political statements, metal, punk, indie rock, and something else I can't quite describe in words.
