Sweetheart play soul music. It’s unique to see a big band of young women that is both adventurous and ground breaking. They take classic sounds and bring them to life in fresh, unexpected ways. These songs represents a new direction for the band.
Sweethearts are based at Geelong’s Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College, Victoria, Australia, where members can study Certificate IV in music, the highest industry based musical qualification available in any school in Australia.
Sweethearts have redefined the possible throughout their 20 year existence. They are the only school based band in the world that operates exclusively in professional settings.
