We're the Belligerents, a five-piece indie/dance band from Brisbane.

We recently released our new EP “She Calls The Shots” after recording it at Airlock Studios with Yanto Browning (The Medics, Jungle Giants, Tara Simmons). Earlier this year we went round the country and played a heap of shows to promote the release on our first headline tour.

We just opened Parklife in Brisbane after winning the spot from Triple J / Triple J Unearthed which was an unreal experience.

Over the past two and a half years we've been lucky enough to play at some amazing venues and support some of our favourite international and local acts, including Metronomy (UK), Neon Indian (USA), Breakbot (France), Van She, Last Dinosaurs, Yacht Club DJs and Strange Talk.

Radio edit's right, really balanced the indie/dance vibe here - can see The Wombats getting a little green with envy. Synth-flecked and rock-hued.
