The Complimentary Headsets are a young indie band from Melbourne's south-east who have spent the last 4 months recording and mixing their first release, "Up In Smoke", a 5-track EP with help from Tim Johnston (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Stereophonics) and Mat Robins at Coloursound Studios in Altona. The boys have already tasted success via Triple J Unearthed, with the demo of the EP's lead track, "Welcome To The Fire", making it to #8 on the nationwide Unearthed Chart.
2011 sees the Headsets launch their debut EP "Up In Smoke" at the Toff on Saturday Feb 26, and work on their follow-up release is already well and truly underway.

Just Sumer all over. Makes me think of a Drumstick dripping all over my fingers as I attempt to eat it before it melts. And I usually hate Drumsticks.

Probably the second best song called Drip that I've ever heard. And I don't say that lightly.
