April 9th will see the release of For You And Me, the first single off the debut album (due in store mid 2011) from Melbourne’s The Fearless Vampire Killers.

For You And Me will follow on from the previously released singles Alright Now Honey and Loaded Gun, which both drew love and subsequent airplay from alternative radio across the country.

For You And Me is a rollicking surfabilly blues track, recorded in Soundpark Studios. Produced by Lars Stalfors (The Mars Volta) and engineered by Michael Badger, it is the first taste of the band’s anticipated debut LP.

To celebrate the release, the band are having a secret house party for hometown fans in Melbourne, there will be free beer, an exclusive screening of the For You And Me film clip, and of course a live set of their finest. Fans must go to Facebook and RSVP to get access to the address details.

Sat April 9th
HOUSE (secret location close to the #8 tram line) North Carlton VIC
Free entry, free beer.
For address and time please go to www.facebook.com/thefearlessvampirekillers and RSVP to attend.
