Tim Gordon
Genre: Indie, Pop
Region: Perth, WA
Members: Tim Gordon
Sounds Like: Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley, Kurt Vile
Influences: Nick Cave, Andrew Bird, Beck

Tim Gordon began writing as an outlet to express himself in a way that he always found difficult to replicate in conversation. With his honest perception of human interaction conveyed by lullaby melodies and juxtaposed by heartfelt wails and brash guitar tones, Tim captivates his audience and draws them into his world. His early influences in Beck and Jeff Buckley, blended with the sounds of Kurt Vile and Bon Iver, direct both the mood and the delivery of Tim's songs into beautiful narratives.

Watching Tim Gordon perform live eliminates the crowd around you, and puts you in a space of your own where feelings and thoughts collide together in a mix of nostalgia and ambitions.

In one of the most humbling unions of the Perth music scene, several admirable artist from established bands have jumped on board to be a part of his recordings. Collaborations from Liam Young (The Novocaines), Ben McDonald (Sonpsilo Circus), Andrew Campbell (The Tumblers) and Jake Chaloner (The James Teague Band), and a feature duet with Rebecca Chilcott (Ruby Boots), have captured the scenery behind the songs. Tim Gordon's EP, Burn the Clouds, will be released soon.

I'm totally into this song. A lot of tension here, and I love the Kurt Vile-esque production too, really gives it its own feel.

Love how the vocals collide, an exceptional song that shows a lot of promise especially from a young artist
