Young Griffo are an independent 3-piece rock band from Brisbane. Obsessed with the smarter perspective of indie rock and yet driven by the darker themes of alternative music, Young Griffo find themselves living somewhere in the middle. Formed on the spot in late 2009, Young Griffo obsessively produced a collection of songs and moved from first drinks to regular gigs in a rapid 4 month period.

Admittedly eclectic, the guys take on each member’s influences and run with any good idea no matter the direction. The fact remains however that Young Griffo write indie pop for people who wish the singer would get a little bit pissed off and alternative rock for people who care more about the content than the clothes.

Their songs are equal parts sincere, frustrated, hurt and sarcastic. With this mess of ideas and emotions Young Griffo are something unique and a must see live act.
