Artist:Art Of Abduction

Art of Abduction are a hard working 4-piece band, hailing from Redcliffe in Brisbane’s north. Forming in the early stages of 2003 the band took some time finding their creative direction, but of late have submersed themselves in the rock/metal genre. AoA recorded a demo in early ‘04’ which has proved very helpful in acquiring a number of gigs at places such as the Coolangatta Hotel, The Rev, Hotel LA and The Basement in the past 12 months. Band members Sam Horne (guitar) Tye Higgins (vocals) Jeremy Gooderham (drums) and new recruit David Bradford (bass) have been fortunate enough to support local favourites such as King Mungi, This Collision, The Amity Affliction and also Sydney band Irrelevant. Although they have been playing together for the best part of three years, it is only recently that the band has found (and seized) a number of opportunities to play at venues in and around South East Queensland.
