Have you heard about Frankie? Frankie Wants Out!

Frankie Wants Out is a nine piece band from Melbourne. They first formed as a neo swing band, playing fast jazz and jump blues as well as taking influence the music of the New York dance halls of the 20’s and 30’s. However over the last four years they have incorporated other styles into their live show, such as latin, motown, rock and funk while still paying homage to their swin...g beginning. Regardless of the style, Frankie Wants Out are still guaranteed to make you jump and jive all the way across the dance floor regardless of whether you’re in a rocking pub or a classy cocktail lounge.

Since the band’s initiation, they have played many shows, toured the country, had airplay on major Australian radio stations, played many festivals, had several residencies, appeared live on national television three times (Mornings with Kerri-Anne, The Today Show—Nine Network, Better Homes and Gardens, Seven Network), released and sold thousands of copies of their debut EP - The Melbourne Way, released their first full length album—Prohibition, launched at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on 3rd January 2009, toured with US swing legends, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy twice, the list goes on…

2010 started with a bang also with sell out shows, playing St. Kilda Festival and Bight and Sandy Fest, touring to Adelaide and selling their 500th copy of Prohibition, headlining “Start the Music, Stop the Traffik” and are looking to record a new EP in the next few month.

If this song doesn't get you on the dance floor, then I don't think anything will.
