'Fell At 10' formed in 2011 after Lead Singer/Bassist Jake Daulby retired from previous band, 'Strike X' and placed an online ad in Gumtree.
On the back of his song 'Hold On (instrumental),' being used in the video game, 'Speed Demon,' Timmy Raspe was eager to get a band off the ground. He answered Jake's ad in February and the pair started writing straight away.
After 12 days of rehearsal, the pair had their 1st 6 songs and quickly realised they needed a drummer fast. Enter Daz Chalker.
Daz had previously been in 6 Punk/Metal bands, all of which disbanded due to pressing external commitments. Bringing a source of energy the band could only dream of obtaining, Daz answered the call of Fell At 10 and saw instantly, the passion, potential and commitment Jake and Timmy had for their craft.
After playing regular shows for 5 months, the 3 piece started to toy with the idea of a 4th member.
Enter Grandmaster Cam..
Cam had been to almost every Fell At 10 show and was well known to the Fell At 10 boys as an insane jazz drummer. So it came as a big shock the day Jake saw Cam perform as a lead guitarist for the Ska/Punk/Funk band Prophets of Impending Doom, lighting up the stage with shredding Slash like solos. Jake asked Cam to jam with Fell At 10 and he quickly became a permanent member, opening up new possibilities for arrangements and performances.
Within 3 months of becoming a 4 piece, Fell At 10 won House of SAP's battle of the bands, with the prize being a 24hr long weekend of recording in House of SAP's very own studio. Since this includes mixing and mastering, it is hoped the band will produce its first single worthy of airplay.
Fell At 10 enter the studio early August 2012.
