From what local street press have said, Buick Six sound like a "pair of handcuffs in a blender... but in a kind of good way". No one really knows what that means, but they describe themself as "rock... kinda dirty, kinda not".
Buick Six we're formed in late 2007 in a small garage in northern NSW. Now based in Brisbane, the 20 year olds enjoy nothing more than playing live and loud set. After an auspicious support slot with Perth's The Silents, Buick Six have started pre-production on their debut EP, planned to be finished for December 2008.
"It'll be about 7 tracks, recorded above our favourite venue in Fortitude Valley, independently funded and distributed," says singer and guitarist John Ryan, "it will have some different sounds on it, but overall it'll be a nice tight, raw sounding record."
All 3 members are self taught and balance full-time jobs with rehersals and writing. They'd love you to listen to their tracks and would be overwhelmed if you let them know what you think!
