triple j Unearthed will be giving one lucky band from anywhere in the country the once in a lifetime opportunity to be flown to Byron Bay, put up in onsite VIP camping and the opening set of the festival on the Supertop main stage.
Check out last year's winners Kingswood on stage at our Splendour 2012 site.
We'll also be searching for three local bands from the Byron Bay area to play during the event. The selection zone for local bands covers the local government areas of Byron, Ballina, Lismore, and Tweed, with preference given to acts based in Byron Shire.
To be in with a chance for both opportunities you just need to have your tracks uploaded in either a pending or live state on the site before Sunday midnight June 23rd. If you're a local band make sure you have 'North Coast" selected as your region so we can find you. If you already have tracks uploaded you are automatically in the running.
