opening date: 19 October 2012
closing date: 4 November 2012

Falls Festival 2012

For Falls, in both Lorne & Marion Bay, the 2012 edition of the festival is already a special one with the festival celebrating its 20th and 10th anniversary respectively. And they have a knock out line-up to ring in the New Year including:

Beach House (USA), Best Coast (USA), Boy & Bear, Coolio (USA), Sampology, SBTRKT, The Flaming Lips (USA), The Vaccines (UK), Bombay Bicycle Club (UK), First Aid Kit (Sweden), Hilltop Hoods, Hot Chip (UK), Maximo Park (UK), Millions, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Two Door Cinema Club (Ireland), The Hives (Sweden), Django Django, Sharon Van Etten, Angus Stone, Ball Park Music, Lisa Mitchell, Matt Corby, Cosmo Jarvis, Jinja Safari, Ash Grunwald, Willis Earl Beal, Muscles, Mohair Slim, Furnace & the Fundamentals, Bertie Blackman, Nu Mark (USA), Jaguar Skills, Loon Lake, Oh Mercy, Rodrigo Y Gabriela (Mexico), San Cisco, The Jungle Giants, and Felicity Ward.

And two very lucky Unearthed bands will have the chance to see their name added to the line up and play in huge festival crowd in the beautiful locales of either Lorne in Victoria, or Marion Bay in Tassie.

To be in with a chance you just need to have your tracks uploaded on the site before Sunday 4th November - midnight and reside in either Victoria or Tasmania. It's fine if they are still pending as we will listen to all the tracks uploaded before deciding.

Hayden Calnin

Christopher Coleman Collective
Christopher Coleman Collective's melodic folk evokes everything from warmth, humour and joy, to introspective sorrow, hardship and love. We're thrilled to announce that they'll be taking the stage at Falls in Marion Bay. Congrats, CCC!
