closing date: 15 April 2007

This competition is now closed. Check out the lucky winners below.
Support Missy Higgins
Missy Higgins knows better than anyone the benefit of supporting unsigned artists. After being 'Unearthed' herself in 2001 she went on to sweep the 2005 ARIAs with 5 awards including 'Album of the Year' for her debut album - 'The Sound of White'.

Missy Higgins is now set to launch her brand new album “On A Clear Night” with an Australian concert tour through May. These will be her first Australian concert dates in over 18 months and we're giving YOU the chance to hop on the tourbus. You'll be her ONLY support for each gig! Could this be your big break?

Missy Higgins and our triple j team will be picking one act from each state to support her for all the gigs in their home state. You'll also get a $300 performance fee for each gig. All artists in NSW (including ACT), QLD, TAS, SA, WA and VIC with tracks uploaded by the 15th April will be in the running. If you already have tracks on the site you are automatically part of this competition.

Congratulations...
Leroy LeeNSW Winner - Leroy Lee
"I really like the production on this track. The laid-back vocals show tasteful restraint and the instrumentation- especially the rhythm section- is rich and interesting. Like the change of feel into the chorus too, it feels Elliot Smith inspired…? I hate star ratings as it’s all just opinion but I really like your stuff and looking forward to hearing more!” - Missy Higgins

Beatrix Bae BouwmanTAS Winner - Beatrix Bae Bouwman
"Pretty, delicate acoustic songs that sound like they were recorded in a bedroom on a winters morning, while it's pouring outside. Love the intimacy and the old feel of your voice. Makes me want to make some tea and dust off my Billie Holiday records...” - Missy Higgins

Jackie MarshallQLD Winner - Jackie Marshall
"Wow, what an intriguing, stunning voice. It feels like every note you sing falls out at random yet somehow lands in the right place. I'd love to be able to write with the same abandonment to which you float your lyrics so effortlessly over your chords. Awesome to hear someone with such an original sound going on...” - Missy Higgins

Jonathan MortimerSA Winner - Jonathan Mortimer
"First thing I thought of when your vocals started on this song was 'Rodriguez'! Are you influenced by him? If not check out his album Cold Fact, you'll love it. So refreshing to hear some interesting, intelligent lyrics that don't sound self-indulgent. Love the old-school demo vibe it suits your sound. Personally though I'd love to hear your songs a bit better recorded- that voice is too good to hide behind buzzing guitar strings!” - Missy Higgins

The Belle EndsWA Winner - The Belle Ends
"This track's got great raw energy. The male and female unison vocals are really different and works- it almost creates a phasey kind of sound. Love the dirty bluesy feel and that sound… that sound like a massive hand clap in the middle. I reckon you guys would be fun to see live!” - Missy Higgins

Ainslie WillsVIC Winner - Ainslie Wills
"Arh, what a beautiful song. I love the distorted Casio/organ sound you start with and the spacey, bedroom feel to the production. Your voice is perfectly close and restrained and I love the slightly electronic harmonies way in the background. Be interesting to see what your live set up's like... And what your other songs are like!" - Missy Higgins
