"my art is bleeding"..is the new album from Darwin based pop / rock / electro band cooperblack, featuring 9 new tracks incorporating driving bass lines and vocals of singer jeremy conlon, crazed theramin and fat synth hooks by simon kormendy and metronomic beats by oliver budack.

Songs about German catch phrases, owning too many books (you never read), the plastination process, birds flying into windows, pop corn, darwin stars Elendil and Hatstand and down tempo radio envy.

"my art is bleeding" also includes a version the Northern Territory's own Nabarlek Band's "Brown Bird", and another by Adelaide's legend musician Baterz "Goth" (RIP).

the cover art features an image by ex darwin artist david collins (grafitti dave): "mexican wrestler"

available at gigs, online at itunes and at the cooperblack web site

Fun electro pop tune. Definitely strands of Flaming Lips and Arcade Fire in this one. Bouncy and fast paced with a driving keyboard line.
