2012 looks to be a big year for English Avenue. After only a short time together, the boys have already released their debut EP "Waiting For The Sun" and supported the likes of Katie Noonan. After taking a short break due to the high school commitments of lead guitarist Tim Uren, the band are now writing a whole bunch of new material and making plans for 2012. Keep an eye out for the release of "Saturday Night" on Triple J Unearthed and stay tuned for some exciting news to kick of the new year. Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/englishavenue

As indicated from your influences, this sounds heaps like the kooks. And i love the kooks! Keep pushing the boundaries and you'll go far.

SO good. The guitar riff is so amazing I spent ages trying to learn it. You guys have topped The Kooks in my mind.

As other reviewers have pointed out the kooks influence shines through but its a good influence to have. Fun, pop song to nod your head to.
