John Roberts, born August 17, 1989, is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne. He grew up in Perth's inner city. Roberts started writing music and playing at live venues and busking in early 2005, when he played for a 2 man blues band called Dakota 61. The band was forced to end when Roberts had to move home to Melbourne. It wasn't until May 2007 that Roberts decided he would play live again, after taking time off. Since, he has started fresh around Melbourne, playing gigs, open mic's, competitions, and busking around the suburbs of Brunswick, Richmond, St Kilda and Kew. He has also spent time working to record tracks for a demo album one song at a time. This has been a long slow process that will hopefully pick up. Enjoy listening!

Dark...real dark. The melody, the lyrics, the music, the effects. It all comes together so well. I dig it!

Cool! Good way the melody flows over the music. Nice little rif too.

Great track, nice slow rhythms and the reverb on the vocals makes the song feels isolating and suites the music well.
