Yocto is mostly upbeat and fun and Brisbane's indie-garage-pop 5-piece's debut EP. The tracks were mixed by local kingpin Darek Mudge (Disco nap, We All Want To) and mastered by Moose (Architecture in Helsinki, Gotye).

With a knack for catchy riffs, layered melodies and driving rhythms, The Clues have a distinctive sound, rolling together old and new influences - from Bloc Party and Death Cab to Darwin Deez and 2 Door Cinema Club - with some jazz and theatre elements.

Dom's right, I do hear a touch of Erlend Oye/Whitest Boy Alive in this. And I like that a lot.

Really cute, jangly indie pop tune. Hints of Peter, Bjorn & John, Whitest Boy Alive and Death Cab for Cutie.
