The LoveBuckles
Genre: Rock, Indie
Region: Brisbane, QLD
Members: Frank Menesch - lead vocals, rhythm guitar Aaron Perkins - lead guitar Brady Clarke - rhythm bass, rhythm vocals Matt Menesch - lead drums
Sounds Like: Phosphorus Bill's Psychedelic Bubblegum Factory
Influences: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Franz Ferdinand, Muse

Springing up from the sprawling industrial wastes of northern Brisbane, The LoveBuckles capture the essence of four guys playing music, in a garage, at a party, battling to be heard over the fifty-or-more drunken teenagers stumbling about. Starting in 2005, Frank’n’Brady decided to use their combined lyrical and musical powers for good, not lame. Eventually a lineup was settled upon, with local newsagent provocateur Aaron’s guitar lines being deemed awesome, and Matt’s drums being deemed necessary for the band’s survival.

With influences ranging from Muse to Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers to Rage Against The Machine, Franz Ferdinand to AC/DC, The LoveBuckles combine funky bass lines and soaring guitar solos with pounding drums and riffs that’ll stick in your head for days (if not months), to create a sound that threatens to shatter your teeth, shake your bones and rupture your kidneys ‘til a smooth vocal line takes charge of this primal energy.
