In their relatively short existence, The Reserves have created a stir in the Perth music scene, receiving rave reviews from critics and punters alike.

Having been compared to Aussie rock icons such as Spy Vs Spy, and English legends The Jam, The Reserves grab you on first listen with catchy hooks, engaging melodies and a driving rythm section. Their unique brand of simplistic rock has seen them regularly play shows with the likes of Birds of Tokyo, Change of Face, Calerway and Hope Here Gone.

Recorded at Bergerk! Studios in Perth under the watchful eye of Al "Dr Alien" Smith (The Critics, Change of Face), and mastered at Edensound Mastering in Melbourne by Martin Pullan (Little Birdy, Gyroscope, Split Enz), The Reserves' first studio offering exceeds all expectations and sets a high standard for future releases.

"Some of the most memorable hooks heard on any release this year...excellent." - The West Australian, June 2006.

"At this EP's heart are really good songs played out by a band that actually understand the point they're trying to make." - X-Press magazine, June 2006.
