The Five Best Songs of the Week!

The Friday Five: June 28 These are the best songs of the week!
Grenade Jumper– Gazed
Great pop-punk from these Sydney newcomers. It’s perfectly structured, melodically interesting, and doesn’t overstay its welcome. In, big choruses, out, thanks for coming, see ya again.
Noah Dillon– Don’t Act Like You Know Me
WA singer-songwriter who very much doesn’t sound like an archetypal singer songwriter. Goes all out to serve the song. Dave reckons it has a special mix of power, heart, and oddity.
Lorelei – I Am A Road
We found this one in the listening queue this week and straightaway we were in. It’s a beautiful dark pop debut. Think Lana Del Rey meets Hatchie.
Order Sixty6 – Suburbia
Tell ‘em what’s up! Nat Tencic called Order Sixty6 the Aussie BROCKHAMPTON, and they do their best teamwork on this one.
Pot Plant House Party – Orbit
Orbit will send you spinning. Crunch and cleverness, together at last, coupled with a huge chorus. Great, modern rock and roll from these WA legends.
