Crazy up and down, side to side-ness of the beat is very catchy! Combine that with the winding-ness of the synths and the winy-ness of the vocals it sounds very futuristic and spaced out! The guitar adds some gound-ness to the song that helps it rather than hinders. Reminds me of some crazy Sufjan Stevens song!
