Getting a little bit of the ol' Shogun from this vocal and I mean that as high praise indeed. Those guitar certainly don't stop to take a breath either.

The intro to this song has me thinking of tiki lounges, kitsch 50s hula outfits and men with fantastic quiff hair styles. The twang of the guitar is a flavour to be sipped and savoured. And the Plastic Fangs handle it well here. Once the vocals hit I feel catapulted to early 80s London with its punk rock roar. There is a hint here of early Rob Smith (The Cure) in the delivery which for me makes...

Nice one Plastic Fangs!

Love how the driving riffs emerge from the jangle and then recede again! Great haunting vocals - some Cure influence?? Looking forward to the next track, guys!

Light in the tunnel is a crisp picture of The Plastic Fangs at their best. Channeling 60's psychedelic spaghetti western ghosts, this track comes awash with the correct amount of reverb and ballsy rock foundation. Endicott's vocals are succinct and powerful - the man has refined his atmospheric concoctions to a razor point. One finds themself humming this tune for days afterwards.
