What's that sample going on in the background? Kind of like a soft 80's video game... I like it! Sweet song, beautifully multi-tracked vocals, pretty low key - and I almost wish Jim would break out with a chorus that changes the direction of the song but as it stands it's quite lovely.

I like this track for it's soothing sadness. And the horns are brilliant.

Interesting and really imaginative production ideas whilst still being a well written song. Has the same feel as early Machine Translations, lyrics not always direct, whilst still painting a picture and evoking a mood. Some lyrics that tug my heart strings for reasons i can't explain, which is always a good thing.

Brilliant! Seriously, don't judge a book by its cover (even if that cover is wearing a silly beanie and holding a keytar). This is a pretty piece of quiet pop that is surprisingly catchy and, I must say, surprisingly good.

Yeh, really nice vocals and interesting sound. I'd listen to more and definitely wouldn't turn the radio off.

It takes a clever sort of man to find a new place within an indie heart. I can see why Josh Pykes vote landed here, but the additional media offers a fresh path way. Sure it's mostly old news but it's good news.

You can see why Josh Pike is a fan of Jim. Perhaps he even sees a little of himself in him. Simple, easy and beautiful to listen to. Should be absorbed while cuddling a teddy bear with a nice cup of tea by the fire. Edo Out!

I can't stop listening to this. I must say, I really enjoy the recorder solo! I'll be honest, the first time I heard the recorder come in it was a bit of a shock but now I think it's a beautiful inclusion in the song. Great work, Jim.

I love this song. So great. The sample is so very cool, your voice sounds like a cross between Stephen Malkmus and Wilco in a very good way

I love this song. It's great to listen to whilst sitting at my computer writing my thesis. I love the horns as well and the mellow voice. Works really well together. Well done.

Beautifully mellow. But I have to say I found it a little boring the more I listened to it. But there's still plenty of quality about it.

I love the understated poignance of the lyrics. Everything fits together so smoothly in terms of production, and I especially relish those saxophone samples - a great little unexpected detail that, for me, really makes the song.

This is really tranquil and smooth. As a layman I'm not sure what it is that appeals to me about this song, but it has a calming effect. It kind of stays with you.. On more than one occasion I've found myself humming along to it a while after I've listened to it.
