Sounds like what a collaboration between the Waifs and My Friend the Chocolate Cake might sound like. There are all sorts of weird and quirky sounds from various instruments. This is led by Eva's strong rootsy voice. This is a brave effort that is pulled off with magnificent flair!

I dig this track. Very inviting and has the fun yet challenging feeling of a Gomez song.

Not nearly as catchy as 'First Day of Summer' but what it lacks in rhythm, it makes up for in truthfulness and rawness. One of the most resonant songs I've ever heard.

Honest, poetic, thought provoking. All the good things for a song to have. I like the bit especially when she says "Lamplight"! The highlight for me. xo

Never been into female Leonard Cohen compleate with resplendent bells aka Suszane. Then again I'm not female and it would probably have more resonance with a female audience. I'm just not convincied it seams to meander for too long. At least with Cohen you want to slash your writs at the end of it all or at least you feel his passion or love. I'm just not convincied it seams to meander for too long. At least with Cohen you want to slash your writs at the end of it all or at least you feel his passion or love. On saying all that it may just be the production, I know that Cohen's production on his earlier stuff is at best minimalistic but that's what make it beliavable. This mix is just too in your face. Hillbilly music, least your not from Adelaide, you had me with the melody. Not sold on the voice though. Once again that Led Zep 3 feeling. Would like to hear the finished product as the production is sloppy, infact the whole thing is a little too lose. I love Led Zep 3 so it gets three start because of that, will have keep my eye open for your live show, that will tell me how tight your band i...

A low down country shuffle with the beauty of a burned out car. The performances are solid, built up on a great double bass line which is surpassed only by Eva's wise and world weary voice. Top Shelf.
