I knew from 'Holograms' that Founds had the promise to make something truly special with their debut record and if 'Avalanches' is any indication then that prophecy will come true. This is ambitious and cinematic chamber indie, making for a very dramatic three-ish minutes.

That gentle guitar brilliantly sets the mood for a haunting track, the urgency of the rhythm section keeps the airy impulses from drifting off. There's potential here.

very dreamy and takes me on a journey or a raindrop down a window, exploring all tracks and taking its time to make the journey more enjoyable. thats what this song does. explores harmonies and elements that make the song more enjoyable.

Of the two songs, this is my favourite. A pretty guitar line and sighed harmonies create an ethereal hazy atmosphere, and the strings are stunning. The drums are most welcome to drive the rhythm - I'm happy to be under the Founds spell.

Very beautiful stuff. Easy going ethereal pop laced in a bit of indie psych goes a long way when it's done like this.

I really love this song. It reminded me of Beach House at first (who are one of my favourite bands, so that's definitely a good thing) but they definitely take it somewhere that's completely their own. They have this kind of ambient ethereal indie pop thing going on. It's really beautiful. These guys are ones to watch for sure.

Beautiful harmonies, great arrangement, gently rocking me back a forth to the edge of my seat & then dancing around my room.

This builds up so spectacularly and the vocals are as enchanting as a magical forest. Definite Grimes in the vocals there. So soulful in the instrumentation, can't stop listening.

Intriguing with a really impressive build and a pretty vocal. And good on you for the fade out. Not many have the guts to do that these days.

I Love the sound of this song, well done. Beautifully arranged and performed. The two vocals make for compelling listening sometimes reminding me of music from the mid 90's... I like that! Looking forward to hearing more.

GAWD DANG this is so much music. I love everything you're doing so do more! Fav bit is the 'ha ha ha ha' with brass swells and vocal layering it feels like Christmas somehow then it burst. shiiiit I can fully rejoice in it.

Look, it's good alright, yet once again I can't help but feel this style of instrumentation melts into the background just a little too much. If anything, I'd lay off the reverb.
