Chase City on the loose! I reckon this one rules. It's got this refreshing cloak of darkness but beneath is this band that by now all the moves and how to get across their energy on recordings.

Feisty AF. It's got those darker notes of New Order and Primal Scream that I LOVE and it's just making me want to run through the city and tear shit up.

just try resist this one. it's thick and dark and has me remembering 'the music' from back in the early to mid 00s.

Darker vibes this time round, feeling a little The Faint/Dukes Of Windsor-esque. And again, I'm here for it.

It's like the soundtrack to one hectic house party in high school where you're either tearing up the d-floor barefoot or laughing hysterically as you spew up your second drink that I don't think I can name but it rhymes with bruiser.

That snarly vocal delivery really pops out, some strong chorus hooks here too. Nice one!

Good to hear this band mix things up again on this new single. It's frenetically bouncing off the walls. Shades of Art Vs Science, Maximo Park and other manic indie/synth heroes.

Wow, what a cracker of a tune! The foggy, bass-deep synths, accented vocals, driving drums and ringing cowbell combine really well to make a forceful tune. Totally imagine this as a backing track for a futuristic sci-fi car chase scene. Absolutely loving it!

Liking this new direction you're leaning into fellas. Hooks for dayyys and a real sense of urgency that'll drag everybody on to the d-floor.

THESE guys came of age in the 2000s and used to get smashed at backyard parties when they were like 17/18 and the playlist was all LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, New Young Pony Club and shit. I just know it.
