Ali E is practically her own music industry in Melbourne. I hope she gets her own designated ash tray at Midian rehearsal studios. Or better still I hope you have your own jam room because you would be spending so much on rehearsal rooms with that many bands to be in. Heavy Beach - I'm really enjoying you guys. I love a 'sit back on a heavy bass line/chorus-y guitar line' songs. ...

And if you live next to a tight arse I see you guys as awesome contrary types that would just play louder.

Time to add another worthy act to that nineties revival list, droning guitar riff ace singer and all.

A fast racing grungy / no wave / shoegazy offering. There is a great thick hazy atmosphere that draws you in from the beginning. At the same time the song is fast and furious with massive energy getting you head banging from start to finish! Everything about this song is awesome!

A dark and moody no-wave style tune. The deep layers of sound create a powerfully bleak atmosphere. At the same time there is a massive energetic rage intertwined in the sound further enhancing the song's power! Another brilliant tune from a very exciting new band!

A really cool shoegazey indie rock tune in the vein of Sonic Youth. The guitars create a great hazy wall of sound. At the same time there is a kind of vintage psychedelic vibe giving the song a heap of character. On top of this Ali E's vocals fit in perfectly to finish off the sound. Absolutely brilliant!

I heard this song on 4ZZZ this morning. It's got a great moody guitar and bass hook that runs right through the song and you can't out of your head. Ali E's cooler than a packet of Minties sexy vocals conjur up memories of Kim Wilde, Kim Gordon and Liz Phair. So if you like indie pop with dashings of 80's New Wave and 90's alternative rock mixed in then give this a whir...
