1929indian’s integration of new-wave and electronic aesthetics has voided them of the capacity to be definitively pigeonholed. The band’s shared desire to create an entity which doesn't adhere to any singular genre has seen them described as “really unique; combining many layers of sound to make mini masterpieces” (The Modern Collection). Following the release of their debut EP, ‘The Dreaming’, 2012 has seen the band’s profile exponentially rise. Their first single, 'Women In Cages', attracted radio play on JJJ, FBi and countless other community radio stations across the country. This culminated in festival appearances at both Groovin The Moo & Fat As Butter, the later after winning the Triple J Unearthed competition.
