This is a nice curveball after On The Road. Giving me a bit of slow, sleaze funk Doobie Bros-like vibe which is always going to win points with me. 3 and a half big ones!

So cool. What a groove. Vulfpeck comes to mind and a great little band that existed once upon a time call Le Kingste. Dark Pop at its best. I don't know whether these guys are still putting tunes together in this outfit, but wouldn't it be nice if they were. Big groove. Eerie sounds. Draws you in. Bloody ripper.

Simple, pretty, fragile at points yet strong in others. A little big of everything in this tune. I love how they mess with all the polyrhythmic stuff yet it just has this straight ahead pop sound that draws you a in. A little bit of complexity underneath some ethereal vocals. Thumbs up all round.

Oh god I absolutely love this song, so chilled and vibey! I'd put it somewhere between a mix of Tame Impala, and Metronomy.

Quite a dreamy tune that sounds a little bit old and new at the same time.

Post more songs you rotters! This is nice - only heard of these guys really recently when they played high tea and they were brilliant. They walk a fine line between cutesy and fragile here but it works great

This is quality shiny indie pop. Singer Charmian has spent the last few years playing keyboards in Lisa Mitchell's band and you can hear a bit of that sensibility here. If you like your music sweet with slick production and great melodies, check this out.

I love this song! Charms has the most beautiful voice and the harmonies and so luscious. I never get sick of listening to this song. I hear more in it each time.

The story element of this song is nice, the lyrics are progressive and it builds to a delicious harmonious layering of one of my favourite voices ever. The digital and full, rich use of layering in this song is what it makes it different for me, along with the different tones of electric piano. It’s busy but in a good way. My favourite line: “Comfort is a traffic in my ear...” My favourit...

The digital and full, rich use of layering in this song is what it makes it different for me, along with the different tones of electric piano. It’s busy but in a good way. My favourite line: “Comfort is a traffic in my ear...” My favourite bit: Of course it’s where the layered vocals “chorus” comes in… “Turn the pages over for me…” What do I think is best about this song? The vocal harmonies and lyrics. They sit together perfectly.

Wonderful dreamy pop number. Singer's voice is perfection and the song is very hooky whilst being complex and rewarding enough to stay listenable on multiple listens.

A great listen. Subtle, catchy rhythms drive a very natural arrangement, and those shimmering harmonies really are the magic on this musical cake. Charmian's vocal stylings are endearing yet powerful, vulnerable yet confident, and refreshingly unpretentious. When these guys get an album out, by golly, I'll spin it until the needle turns it into a big black mozzie coil. Splendid. Bravo...
