the best moments lie in those transitions from the quieter side to the more stomping efforts. love the sentiment too of calling without anything to say.

Great to hear from you again. There's a lot of character in this and I love that piano playing of yours in the back.

Some really great moments throughout this one with your vocals soaring and those keys getting a nice lil thrashing! Lots of heart and even a bit of drama but it's well controlled. Keep it up.

As Dom said, many twists and turns in those melodies but you've somehow made it quite easy and enjoyable to follow. Everything sounds so honest and so intriguing. Nice one Jacob!

I love that you've listed Sondheim as an influence because there's something definitely theatrical about 'Docks. It's melodically complex but it's not OTT. It's a charming, clever pop tune.

God this song is a journey. There's something really classically Australian about this that never tips over into something sour. Beautiful.

Love the musicianship, ebbs and flows, the listener isn't allowed to set back and assume they know what's coming. Good chunes too
