Damn this one sends a real warm hug through your body. If "golden hour" was a song this would be it.

gena's songs have such warmth and trust to them, you just want to hear every word and emotion of her stories.

have loved all three of gena's releases. she's a serious pro at taking time and using space in the best way.

That build at the end though! There's this beautiful softness about your voice but so much maturity and control on display as well. A smokey yet polished indie-rock delight. Wonderful stuff.

there's that same smokiness as the last one which i loved but this ramps up the passion in a different way. there's some little birdy in here too which is a nice throwback.

Your restraint is impressive. The way you control everything here, even as it builds bigger, is the mark of someone who knows what they're doing.

Shoot me dead. This is everything I love. Punchy lyrics, subtlety and a killer voice. When's the record?

You had me on the edge of my seat, hanging onto every single twang-tinged word, and genuinely excited to see where it all was heading. I was not disappointed.

I like Gena's songs. Warm and melancholy. Sweet voice. I like the guitar playing too, especially that little inter-phrase riff. This is a neat, compact song about the loss of love. Has a pop feel, but then redeemed by Gena's soft lament.

Delicate and beautiful. The dancing vocal melody sits on top of that instrumentation effortlessly! Getting some Beatles inspired tones from this one! Great track overall, looking for more more more!
