Liking the shimmer that Amela's brought to this track. That too the lyrical refrain about fooling yourself that everything's fine when it actually might not is pretty apt for our current time.

So clean! If you remove the vocals, the music sounds like it could've come of an early Eskimo Joe album. The vocals make the song uniquely Amela. Great stuff.

What a great song! Recorded well, fantastic lyrics and vocals. Really unique folky pop song. Though that description doesn't really do it justice. Really unique folky pop song. Though that description doesn't really do it justice. It starts of as a pretty run of the mill folky pop tune but they way they build this song at each turn is sneaky and brilliant. The vocals are really strong. They're misty and dreamy without being flakey and by the 3 minute mark you're singing along and find yourself lost in a festival with a thousand other mates wondering how you got there. But more than that it's such a cool melody and it feels so simple. I feel like I've been fooled somehow. Is it the same riff all the way through? How is this so intriguing while just being a bunch of guitars and voices? There must be some sorcery going on here. Let the spell take you. It's a sweet ride.

There's something strangely familiar about the intro of this track. As soon the the guitar riff comes in and Amela's voice starts serenading you, you know you're in for a good listen. That chorus is definitely going to be lingering in my mind for days!
