Loved this track from NTL Landmarks. It feels like summer slipping away and you're so frozen by the prospect of no more cricket and pool swims that you end up deflated but still in a Hawaiian shirt.

Fans of RCBF & The War On Drugs will lick this up. That guitar is the star of the show, love it.

This is a perfect mix between big production and a slight messiness. It underplays the grandness that a track like this could go for, and it's all the better for it. V strong. Thank you!

Loving the RBCF nod - finding influence in your own backyard is always cool. This is solid! Weaving indie rock that's straight outta Newy.

It feels like you've taken notes from classic songwriters like Springsteen and Kelly; and then wrapped it up in an modern indie vaneer.

Died Pretty, The Church, The Go Betweens...
If all that came to mind within the first minute you are on to something seriously good. Shit at 2:30 ish you really shook it up then back to that lost summer vibe. Go Newy!!

Strong opener! This is not a vein I have heard mined since maybe the late eighties/early nineties. I like it. Sounds really refreshing and intriguing. Very welcome. Definitely has me thinking of Died Pretty and they were one of the most underrated Aussie bands EVER!

Hey hey, it's lil old me here. Haven't reviewed a track on Unearthed in yonks but figured it was worth coming out of hibernation for this stunningly structured guitar pop gem! Blending the line between The Go-Betweens' Aussie jangle of the C86 era and modern sunny beach rock, Newcastle's most underrated band does their steel city proud with a coastal HIT that wouldn't be out of place in Mel Gibson's feature film debut 'Summer City' (1977) as him and his mates drive down to Catherine Hill Bay. I hope the film clip for this song is as warm and nostalgic as the song is.
