I really like a lot of things about this song. It starts modestly, but the Melissa's voice hooks you in. It kinda builds, then drifts away, then builds again. But never crashes in which you kind of expect. Unpredictable is a good word for this song.

how can a song beginning with the word dead be so fun? its a catchy beat and the vocals to me change from sounding bit like tegan & sara to the grates to lisa mitchell to in small places regina spektor. all in all great song and proves versatility

A sweet pop tune that has a mix of indie shoegaze and folky elements mixed in. The music starts off with sweet dreamy vibe that gradually builds up to a moderate rock out towards the end. The song is further enhanced by Melissa Tickle amazingly gorgeous voice. Well worth checking out if you like bands such as Deadstar or Screamfeeder.

Love Mel's voice. Dreamy, frail, and strong all at once.

The vocals and upbeat percussion do it for me- distinctively Australian sound.

This fresh aussie band has a unique sound that I'm addicted to. I think is's the honesty and delicateness of their music that makes me flow with it so well. Love Dead Loss.

A really cool song! I would describe it as a more poppy Radiohead; perhaps Feist meets Radiohead. Very enjoyable.

The dated decision makers at triple j love this song. oh what a suprise... the voice is good and so is the track but its the flagship is the same old j genre benchmark, you can set your early nineties clock to it on triple j. Lets see, green cardigan....check, casio key sounds ..check. newtown vocals ..check. The usual triple j "frente" syndrome all over again. You expect nothing more...

Great vocals. It does sound like a lot of other stuff but i still enjoyed it. Simple instrumentation but effective. i found I was tapping my feet to the song

Beautiful song. The driving feel of the kick drum is perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the piano. Excellent arrangement and a very pretty vocal. Keep at it!

Hey, This song's power is the flawless vocal, it just sits there to be heard! This track is unwaveringly sweet and I love the simple percussion and subtle crescendo. This song with a massive payoff at the end would be 5 stars!

pretty boring track really.... the vocals are okay but the instrumentation is a big let down... the song doesn't make you feel anything... it's just there.... i know it's meant to be simple but that doesn't mean it has to be tired and predictable...
