Just such a fresh sound! You can hear traces of shuffling jazz, washed out psych, sample-heavy electronica, and even Radiohead, but they come together to form something strikingly unique. Oh, and pairing with Tom 'Scary' Iansek was a genius move. Another EP soon Plz!

Did these guys nail it on the first try? Am I about to answer my own question? Affirmative to both.

The first time I heard the Slummies I was totally blown away and I reckon that this band is going to be huge. I friggin’ love this track, the vocals are so sick and it’s got this vintage and almost sampled feel to it. It’s a really sad song but you have to search closely to feel the sadness and I love songs like that.

I really love this track and loved working with these guys in the studio. We had a really good time; they're just hilarious boys. Working with them was a matter of bringing out the right elements in the sounds and beats they had already had, and making sure the energy was right. We definitely wanted something dark and brooding, and wanted to make sure it all worked together.

Very chill.
Never heard anything like it.
Is what I'd say anyway!
