Beautiful vocals. I could listen to her all day. Unlimited potential for soundtracks for stage and film.

This song moved me and I stayed in the car until the second refrain before heading into work. I look forward to great things from Cathy.

Hm, I'll be honest, not nearly as strong as the original. The distortion on the voice, trumpet even more so, and a very sad sounding piano overwhelm the inviting casio synth and delectable double bass. The vocals are certainly not as inspired as the original and need to be re-recorded with practiced pacing, avoiding the over-pronounciation in the opening. Should've just pulled a Bens ...

Absolutely brilliant. What a voice! So conversational, but still incredibly melodious. I love the way she moves between (vocal) notes. It reminds me of a mono synth in the way that if you press and hold a key, and then press another, it has to make a very quick slide to the note. Really colourful music. Sweet action Cathy, I dig it hard dude!

Absolutely wonderful, I was in awe when this came on in the car today. In the realm of Massive Attack but with lovely Australian touches put over the top, and the horns make a cheeky compliment to the genre. Simply gorgeous.

REVIEW OF ORIGINAL RECORDING - Yeah, a nice simple song, with an interesting trumpet part. Reminds me of backing music from a late 60's drama.

REVIEW OF ORIGINAL RECORDING - Amongst the best of the better stuff.I'm not even sure I like it but I gave it five because like very little on JJJ Unearhted it has a fair degree of originality...and there is a nice muted piano/trumpet thing that reminds me of Burt Bacharach.

REVIEW OF ORIGINAL RECORDING - Voice is nice enough but that piano sounds like it's being bashed out by a 4 year old. Perfect for insomniacs

REVIEW OF ORIGINAL RECORDING - I would probably say this was a very average song, but it's somewhat haunting. There is something about it, not sure if it's for me so much, but congrats on winning the songwriting contest.

REVIEW OF ORIGINAL RECORDING - Slow release appeal fo' sure. But totally worth it. The trumpet is so sophisticated in this song. Your voice is so clear, a nice timbre. Pretty, very stylish. Make a cd, quick!
