      The 4’ 20’ Sound is a soundsystem collective of reggae musicians and producers. The crew has been driving the leading reggae sound system events in Byron Bay for the past 2 years whilst maintaining the maddest dance standard with a unique combination of live dub combined with live instrumentalists and ragamuffin MCs followed by fat dubplates selection. Their music is inspired from the traditional sound system culture and alternates from roots reggae into digital dancehall and explodes into ground shaking heavy bass steppa beats. Their performance consists on fusion of electronic beats with live instruments, backed by psychedelic echoes and dub sirens. The crew is running residential events in The Ginger Pig Bar and Byron Bay Brewery on weekly basis and currently collaborating on their productions with some of the biggest ragamuffin MCs in the world such as: General Levy, Skarra Mucci, Ranking Joe, Tippa Irie, Prince Alla, Jospeh Cotton and many more to come.
