Earthy, earnest and utterly likeable. I'm going to tell you this every time but you're just great.

Another winner from Alex, this time showing this solo guise can punch out a killer guitar pop song.

Alex posted a really cool message about the passing of producer George Martin. The echo of The Beatles' work at the start of this song is another small, but heartfelt tribute to all Martin achieved. Overall, this is a topnotch song. Nothing groundbreaking. Just really great.

Another winner, and so great to hear you leap into a new direction and different pace. Again, brilliant songwriting. Keep 'em coming Alex.

it could be the soaring chorus, the lurching guitars or raw personality and arrangement... but this is one delicate gem.

An awesome newy from you Alex that I just got that chance to listen to! You have this really bubbly, Beatles-esque, 60's vibe in the verse and come through with this powerful, anthemic chorus. Bloody fantastic!

Get out! A Sax solo! I did not see that coming. Solid backing vocal hooks as well.

Takes a lot of nerve - and skill with arrangements - to make a saxophone solo work in a pop-rock context. You nailed this and many other things in the space of three minutes. Very nicely done.

I wasn't expecting the horn at all, but it really sealed the deal.

I can't remember if I already reviewed this but I meant to as soon as Quinny told us about it. I was reallll excited by new you, and on listening I have not been disappointed. The sax in the middle is a lovely touch.

Dreamy vocals and love the sax and bass. Builds nicely to a dancey, shiny finish.
