Hmmm, yep, this is going to age very well. Still one of the best Australian songs in recent memory.

There are so many peaks and valleys and heart-bursting moments. It climbs then dips and meanders to the most satisfying climax. Every little piece is great, the wailing guitar slides, the 80s synth baps, with Hannah's stunning voice holding it all together. tldr: THIS IS SUCH A GREAT SONG.

There's so much heart in this song. Love the subtle twang, and just the epic warmth of it all. I LOVE THIS.

But really, who's surprised that a band featuring Hannah Joy and Tim Fitz are making something this fantastic?

I don't wanna go over the top with hyperbole so I'll just say that this is one of the best songs I've heard in ages and leave it at that.

Voted for these guys in the FBI Sydney Music, Arts and Culture Awards this year. Great stuff! They might be on the 'Edge of Town' but they're also on the edge of greatness. Hopefully they can follow in the footsteps of The Preatures!

This song reels me in even more with every listen. The build up of emotions throughout the track and the catchy hook will never cease to give my tear ducts a bit of a workout. Cannot wait to hear more from you guys. An absolute beautie.

I love everything about this track. Getting some serious HAIM vibes from the vocals but also its such a fresh sound that sticks in your head so easily. Straight up incredible lyrics, you can feel the heart thats gone into it. I usually can't listen to a song more than 5 times in one sitting but have had this on repeat for the past 2 weeks at least. Song of the year easily. *standing ovatio...

Usually a great song makes people happy - like REALLY freakin' happy - but instead I just want to cry a little bit because I didn't think to write this first.

Im always honest in these reviews but I usually keep a little something in the back pocket... but in this case I'm holding nothing back. Hannah's vocals make me weak at the knees! this song really put middle kids on the map, it's dripping with delicious melodee, and energy and instrumentation, and structure and sound, all in perfect interaction and clockwork. i love paul dempsey's cover of it, he killed it, if this is an example of what to come there's no stopping them, they can buy the world
