With that laid back guitar line, the Arctic's vibe in the delivery, and the psych tinges here and there, how could you not love it.

This song Wiggy sounds appropriately cooked by the Death By Denim boys. Over-fuzzed guitars and lyrics that'll bend your brain harder than a magic eye calendar.

DBD kissing the sun and oozing their way through psychy heaven. Big love for the exploration and fun side on this one.

That ramp up around the 2.30 mark. And then those power chords. I heard that and made that wanky chef signage when something tastes good. With the fingers? And the smacking of the lips? When is this site getting some friggin' emojis to help me out.

Jeeez DRH's spot on with those references. I totally hear it.
DBD bringing that sizzle here. You've got me singing oo oo oOoOoOooo throughout this one. It takes you on a bit of a melting journey by the end of it. It's really effective.

Did Ocean Alley check into the Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino? No, it's Death By Denim! This band's been carving out their own sound successfully in their local scene and the time is ripe for everyone else to get wise.

another big time jam from you guys. it's not quite turbulence but it dips and rises and glides and the pilot has left the seatbelt sign on for the whole journey.

Awesome production as always from these guys. I'm a sucker for a watery chorus effect on a guitar riff, this track makes me feel like I am driving along the coast on an overcast day with the top rolled back on a convertible, wind in my hair.

You can only pull off this kind of psychedelic dreamy-ness when when the rhythm section is locked down... Kudos to the drummer/bass player for stretching out a tight canvas, allowing the rest of the instruments to splash colour and texture with seemingly abstract abandon. I love what this band does with synths, I swear I could happily just listen to the synths stems from this track over and over again, swirling and atmospheric at times - adding excitement with a little square wave distortion in the bottom end at others.
You can definitely hear the Arctic Monkeys influence in the vocals but this is in no way a bad thing, it's almost like Alex Turner was born and raised as an Aussie beach bum instead of a cockney Yorkshire-man.
Somehow all of these pieces fit together to make something truly compelling, oddly nostalgic and yet oh so fresh.
