This band is excelling at creating dense, moody tracks with little sprinkles of surprises here and there.

Seen a few Unearthed super users giving this band some good reviews and wanted to see what the fuss was all about! Glad I sussed out the song too because it's a pretty grand and ambitious bit of music. I'll be keeping my radar tuned to what these guys do from here.

Really interesting one that flexes and delivers on plenty of ideas. Great, great, great.

I am completely blown away. This track has a lot of depth to it and elaborate, lavish layers that fuse together incredibly well. As the song builds you just fall more and more in love with it. I am completely blown away. This track has a lot of depth to it and elaborate, lavish layers that fuse together incredibly well. As the song builds you just fall more and more in love with it. There are so many fantastic elements in this song that just seem to work/blend together perfectly. The track goes through so many different phases - there is this subtle hint of melancholy and darkness towards the beginning that is completely balanced out by the epic, euphoric, anthemic sound of the end. This is a track that in order to fall head-over-heels in love with you have to listen to the whole thing from beginning to end. I've done that a few times now and I can officially say I'm obsessed.

Immediate comparisons to Aussie indie-heavyweights the Jezabels, "Animals" is a beautifully atmospheric indie rock track. Building effortlessly, with so many wonderful yet complex and perfectly produced layers it had me hugging my headphones for more. Immediate comparisons to Aussie indie-heavyweights the Jezabels, "Animals" is a beautifully atmospheric indie rock track. Building effortlessly, with so many wonderful yet complex and perfectly produced layers it had me hugging my headphones for more. Ceilings manage to layer aspects of pure joy with a fusion of depth and undercover darkness and with every listen I hear something new, as the complexities continue to surface. Holly’s vocals seem to add this wonderful air of mystery and intrigue and had me chasing the true meaning behind the “Twilight Hours”. I cannot wait to hear more.

Sounds great. Musically very good. Drummer has a wicked beat. It sounds a little quiet though. I'd compress more.

It's so hit and miss with this style of music. So many people almost come close but sadly just miss. Not these guys! "Animals" is a beautiful arrangement of musical layers pairing the ethereal with a straight up "yep I can feel that" beat! The result, more please! I also appreciate that the lead vocal is clear, confident and she has a stunning tone. So, let's hear ...
