All the other legends before me have said everything there is so say so I'll just add that you guys killed this live tonight. The crowd was literally swinging from the roof and crowd surfing in a room that was absolutely not equipped to handle it (which made it more fun). This song rules.

It's completely Shady Nasty; an outpour of darkness, post punk, hip hop, jazz and experimental sounds. "Tick tock, put a list in my dock...Fuck Off'. I love the word play and the insight you've given us here. It feels disjointed, it's unpredictable and completely clever.

Shady Nasty inspire big questions here, like, is this the most Melbourne thing Sydney has ever produced? How am I not a pint deep swaying to this at The Ev right now? And how could I not love this?

This band's so good and it's time everyone ought to know it. Shards of metallic noise press against some sinuous lyrics.

Shady Nasty are at the forefront of experimental Sydney at the moment, producing consistently creative records. Get Buff rattles through time signatures, discordant and weird but always interesting.

This band really blew my mind with their debut tune, Upwardsbound, in 2016. So stoked to hear new music from their s/t now! This one spills off into thrilling, jerky noise with nervous energy.

This is bloody incredible. It's got the warped guts of early Temper Trap and Hungry Kids in slacker pastry with post-hardcore gravy. The kind of pie like Tandoori Chicken, where you think 'that won't work', but it turns out to be the best pie in the shop.

At risk of sounding like a Hallmark card, you really do make the ordinary extraordinary. Disjointed on paper but in reality there's so many calculated aspects that flow seamlessly.

Step 1: Think up a unique, theatrical sound
Step 2: Tweak it a little to make the song easily accessible and impossible to turn off
Step 3: End up with Upwardsbound

Any band with Sunny reference for a name is good by my books. Also, this track is bloody excellent.

Something really different here. This is a sound that's been lost in today's music scene and you guys are bringing it back. This track is dramatic at times and then calm at others. Little bit of everything going on here and I love it. Totally different, totally great.
